The predecessor of Wing Lung Bank was established by Mr. Yee Sun Wu and Mr. Jieh Yee Wu in the 1930s.
Wing Lung Bank expanded into one of Hong Kong’s major local banks and was listed in 1980.
In 2008, the Wu Family sold its controlling stake in Wing Lung Bank to China Merchants Bank for HKD19.3bn.
Members of the Wu Family subsequently ventured into family office, asset management, and investment banking.

Law Family, known for establishing the Bossini retail empire, has successfully transitioned into global property and hospitality investments.
Through Park Hotel Group and Park Capital Group, under Law Kar-po’s leadership, family members have ventured further into investments.
Park Capital Group was established and led by Ms. Wendy Law, daughter of Mr. Law, who was ranked #12 on Forbes Hong Kong Rich List 2025.
